Water management is a significant component of the LEED® program. Flowtite® water storage tanks contribute to satisfying multiple credits of the LEED® Green Building Rating System. Our tanks can store waste water, gray water, rain water, storm water, and even potable drinking water. They can also be fitted with filtering components to separate oil and other contaminants so the water collected can be reused for landscaping and other applications.

Fiberglass does not rust, corrode or degrade, which extends product life and reduces maintenance costs. These attributes are critical when creating a sustainable product. As well as LEED® credits, our water storage tanks contribute to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) credit program.

• SS Credit 6.1 – (1) point - Stormwater Design: Quantity Control
• SS Credit 6.2 – (1) point - Stormwater Design: Quality Control
• SS Credit 7.2 – (2-4) points - Heat Island Effect – Roof: Vegetative Roof Surfaces
